The Chlorophyte in Terraria

In normal Terraria gameplay, the Chlorophyte Ore is invaluable for many reasons. For instance, you can make the newest armor set with an excellent headpiece for hybrid builds. You can also craft valuable bullets that make any boss fight easy!

Unfortunately, the game devs have to nerf the item. This results in lesser spawn chance and slight risk and difficulty when mining the ore. However, we offer a solution that could rake you in hundreds, if not thousands, in quantity! So, read this guide to learn how to farm unlimited Chlorophyte in Terraria.

Chlorophyte Explained

The Chlorophyte is a Hardmode ore in the Underground Jungle biome. Upon defeating the Wall of Flesh and entering Hardmode, it’ll spawn and spread through Mud blocks. It’s similar in terms of behavior as Crimson, Corruption, and Hallow biomes convert blocks, albeit with variable speed.

Even though you can find Chlorophyte Ores in the world, you can’t mine it until you have at least 200 Pickaxe Power. The Drax or Pickaxe Axe can do just that, but defeating all three mechanical bosses is a must to get both tools’ crafting pieces. Once you have the necessary materials, you can now start mining.

When traversing the Underground Jungle, we recommend equipping a pair of Wings and a reliable Mount. The Ancient Horn (that spawns a damaging Basilisk Mount on maximum movement) is a perfect example. Hooks are more than welcome to refresh your Wings’ flight duration.

Since spotting Chlorophyte can get tricky, add Spelunker Potions to your Inventory. You can make one by bringing Bottled Water, Blinkroot, Gold Ore, and Moonglow at an Alchemy Table. The Placed Bottle crafting station will also do, but resource return is not guaranteed.

Mining and Farming Unlimited Chlorophyte

When mining, don’t take every piece. Since Chlorophyte can spread through Mud Blocks, it’s best to leave a small amount so you can gather more later. You can repeat the same process near your base. Here are the steps:

1. Construct your Chlorophyte Farm in the Cavern layer. The distance will depend on your world size. Equipping the Depth Meter accessory or listening to the background music will determine if you’re in the said location.

2. As you’re using Mud Blocks, beware of the spread of Crimson, Corruption, or Hallow biome. It’ll ruin your farm, yielding you negative results. We recommend protecting it with bricks or any other non-corruptible blocks. Otherwise, purge the evil biome with our comprehensive guide here.

3. Your farm in Terraria must be 7×7 in height and width. Those blocks shall then be 40 blocks apart to facilitate a faster growth rate, albeit the percentage isn’t consistent.

What Can You Do With Chlorophyte in Terraria?

There are good and a few excellent items you can make in-game. But first, you need an Adamantite or Titanium Forge to smelt Chlorophyte Ores into Bars. To make one, combine 1 Hellforge with 30 Adamantite Ores or Titanium Ores.

Here are some of the best picks we have when synthesizing Chlorophyte Bars:

1. Drill Containment Unit

Materials to Bring40 Chlorophyte Bars, Hellstone Bars, Meteorite Bars, Luminite Bars, Shroomite Bars & Spectre Bars
Crafting StationMythril Anvil / Orichalcum Anvil

This unique mount lets you dig extremely quickly without needing any Pickaxe or Drill. It offers the strongest mining power and speed in Terraria. However, using any buff potions won’t stack, which is good for saving resources.

If you haven’t made Hellevators to contain the Crimson or Corruption biome, you should make the Drill Containment Unit.

2. Chlorophyte Bullets

Materials to Bring1 Chlorophyte Bar & 70 Musket Balls
Crafting StationMythril Anvil / Orichalcum

Is it hard to aim in boss fights? Crafting Chlorophyte Bullets in Terraria makes everything easier in Terraria, especially if you’re a ranged user. With more focus, you can exploit Hoiks and Teleporters easily with little attention to pay.

While the bullet may sound like a game-changer, Terraria has to balance things out. One of them is lesser damage, making fights a tad bit longer than if you’re using other types.

3. True Excalibur

Materials to Bring (Terra Blade upgrade)1 Broken Hero Sword, True Night’s Edge, True Excalibur
Crafting StationMythril Anvil / Orichalcum Anvil

Making the True Excalibur in Terraria is mandatory if you adapt close-range gameplay. Not only can it hit six bodies in one strike, but it’s also essential for crafting a stronger sword, the Terra Blade.

The True Excalibur is one of the best weapons to wield during the Solar Eclipse event. Not to mention, you’ll get the Broken Hero Sword crafting material to complete your upgrade!

4. Turtle armor set

Materials to Bring3 Turtle Shells & 54 Chlorophyte Bars
Crafting StationMythril Anvil / Orichalcum Anvil

Imagine the Pre-Hardmode Cactus armor set but buffed. That’s what the promising Turtle armor counterpart offers when you save enough ingredients to craft the set.

Wearing every piece gives you +750 aggro, +15% damage reduction (on desktop, mobile, and console versions), +14% melee attack, and +12% melee crit chance. Moreover, the Thorns effect deals double damage to enemies, which makes you last longer in Multiplayer boss fights in Master Mode.

Note: Chlorophyte Bars also let you craft the Chlorophyte armor set. Overall, the Hallowed armor is better because of its passive set bonus, allowing you to dodge enemy attacks.

A Martian onslaught is about to happen!

Martian Madness is one of many exciting events you can trigger in Terraria after meeting some requirements. It’s critical to face waves in this invasion as you’ll get useful items such as Xenopopper, Charged Blaster Cannon, and Xeno Staff. After all, facing four Celestial Pillars can become a nuisance with outdated gear.

In this short guide, we’ve shown how to trigger the mentioned event. We’re also including notable loots.

Martian Madness in a Nutshell

This event consists of Martian Saucers and Scutlixes, to name a few aliens, invading your world. Like the Goblin and Pirate Invasion, killing enemies will fill up the progress bar until 100%. After that, aliens will stop spawning.

The invasion is one we recommend facing before progressing further in-gameItems you’ll get are great before facing the few final bosses in Terraria, especially if you’re on a harder difficulty.

How to Spawn the Martian Madness

To activate the event, make sure to meet the following requirements:

 • Let the Martian Probe escape after detecting you. The Martian Probe is a jellyfish-like robot, emitting green scanners similar to a Wi-Fi icon. The scanners will turn red if it detects you and then attempts to leave. You can find this entity in the outer two-thirds of the map on the Sky and Space layersWe recommend equipping the Lifeform Analyzer.
 • 200 total HP.
 • Go near any NPC with a valid housing or the spawn point.
 • Golem is defeated.

The Martian Probe is a rare entity. As initiating the event is important, using a Water Candle and Battle Potion will increase the spawn rate. If any other invasions occur, skip the day/night before approaching the entity.

Terraria: 5 Ways to Get Wings Easily (Full Guide 2023) https://avidgamer.gg/terraria-how-to-get-wings/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=terraria-how-to-get-wings Sun, 20 Aug 2023 06:54:23 +0000 https://avidgamer.gg/?p=8912 More...]]>
The player looting a Skyware Chest, interacting with the Angler, and defeating Betsy to get Wings in Terraria.
Different ways to get Wings.

Because of Terraria’s vast world, exploration is a must to progress. From the Forest you spawn into to Underground biomes, every location is crucial for completing the game. Hence, walking with a maximum of 15 mph won’t budge, let alone escape from some enemies trying to “erase” your existence.

Aside from Boots and Balloons are Wings that greatly help in your mobility. A pair lets you cover a lot more distance faster while completely removing the fall damage you get. Because of their functionality, most players use a couple to defeat Bosses quickly.

In this guide, we’ll help you how to get Wings in Terraria. We include comparison stats so you can choose wisely from our five methods.

1. Crates and Chests

Before using this method, note that you can get Fledgling Wings upon creating a Journey Mode character. If you’re a non-Journey player, you can still get the same equipment through Gravitation Potions and Floating Islands.

Crafting the Gravitation Potion takes time, so we recommend finding Chests in Living Trees and Underground. There’s a 66.67% chance of getting the Gravitation Potion, which is a reasonable risk.

Go back to the Surface and consume the Potion. Afterward, keep moving and toggling the “up” button until you find a Floating Island. If you’re lucky, you might get the Fledgling Wings.

Terraria Fledgling Wings 1

Note: If you have land or air movement-enhancing accessories, you may skip this process. After all, you can properly get Wings in Terraria upon reaching Hardmode.

2. Complete Angler’s Quests

The Angler in Terraria is one of many available NPCs you’ll encounter on the Beach. Interacting with him will open a conversation tab, counting as a Town tenant once you have an available house. Clicking the “Quest” button will show what fish you must catch and its location.

Every successful quest grants several items, from the Fishing set to trophies. However, you may also get the Fin Wings as a reward. Upon reaching Hardmode and the 10-quest-milestone, there’s a one in 70 chance to get the item.

So is it worth the grind? If you’re only opening Terraria to catch fish, yes.

3. Crafting

All Crafted Wings in Terraria
Crafting Wings are mostly done with Souls of Flight acquirable in Hardmode.

In Hardmode, new enemies will spawn and bring more crafting materials. One of them is the Wyvern – a dragon-like creature present in the Sky and Space layer. Defeating them always drops five to ten Souls of Flight for crafting certain pairs.

The following table shows all Wings in Terraria you can craft with Souls of Flight. We’ve also included all basic stats and crafting materialsNote: The appropriate crafting station is either a Mythril Anvil or an Orichalcum Anvil.

Terraria Crafted Wings

The next table shows all four endgame pairs you can craft at the Ancient Manipulator:

Some Wings need unique materials to craft.

4. Purchasing from NPCs

All bought Wings in Terraria
There are three Wings you can buy from certain NPCs.

After progressing in Hardmode and defeating some Bosses, some NPC will sell Wings in Terraria. A sold pair doesn’t mean it’s worse, but it’ll consistently be outperformed by late-game ones, whether through crafting or looting.

5. Defeat Enemies

All Wings you can get from defeating Bosses and Mini-Bosses in Terraria
Of course, you’re rewarded for defeating Bosses.

With tons of monsters in Terraria, you can expect good rewards for your effort in eradicating them. But this method is primarily effective in Hardmode, as no early-game enemy will drop Wings. Consider the following pairs upgrade to your existing ones:

The Blend-O-Matic crafting station in Terraria
Blend-O-Matic in Terraria

Some Terraria players use Asphalt Blocks in their vast arena to battle countless bosses. While it’s optional – and you’re always good to go in Classic – we can’t say the same for Master and Expert Mode. That’s why this guide will teach you everything about its crafting station – the Blend-o-Matic.

Blend-O-Matic – Explained

The Blend-O-Matic is a crafting station in Terraria for making Asphalt Blocks, granting you enhanced speed when traversed. Moreover, walking on Asphalt Blocks also reduces the time it takes for you to come to a stop.

Acceleration becomes even more potent when combined with other speed-boosting items like the Hermes Boots. Remember that this only affects players running directly on the Asphalt Blocks, leaving enemies, NPCs, and critters unaffected.

The player running on a normal block and Asphalt Block.
Notice the speed difference between two block types

When you run on said blocks, you can achieve an impressive top speed of 53 mph by accelerating for around three seconds. This is a significant difference compared to the usual maximum running speed of 15 mph.

Such swiftness makes these blocks valuable for various purposes, from constructing Skybridges for collecting Fallen Stars to creating Arenas for Hardmode Terraria bosses.

If you’re aiming for better movement and strategic benefits, acquiring the Blend-O-Matic is a must!

Acquiring the Blend-O-Matic

Once he’s present, you can buy the Blend-o-Matic from the Steampunker for 10 Gold Coins. To acquire the NPC, you must defeat at least one of three Mechanical Bosses in Terraria. We strongly advise targeting either the Destroyer or the Skeletron Prime.

The Destroyer is a mechanical worm with varying health that doesn’t split into smaller segments – unlike its Pre-Hardmode counterpart. It shoots lasers if there’s space and releases Probes to attack when a part is destroyed. You can easily counter this enemy by equipping any piercing weapon or high DPS.

Alternatively, you can go against Skeletron Prime – a more agile version of the Pre-Hardmode Skeletron. If the mechanical boss isn’t defeated before the night ends, it’ll target and likely kill you in one hit before despawning.

Terraria: How to Get Platinum (Easy) | Full Guide 2023 https://avidgamer.gg/terraria-how-to-get-platinum/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=terraria-how-to-get-platinum Fri, 04 Aug 2023 05:41:50 +0000 https://avidgamer.gg/?p=8641 More...]]>
Platinum Blocks in Terraria

Platinum is one of the primary ores in the early game of Terraria. This valuable resource is essential for crafting fourth-tier equipment and tools to help you level up your gameplay. With this material, you can unlock the potential to create powerful items to help you progress in the game.

Obtaining its ores can be challenging since you must venture under the surface or above ground. So, successful mining relies on strategy, exploration, and luck. Keep reading this comprehensive guide; we’ll reveal this valuable material’s locations and spawning points!

What is Platinum in Terraria?

Platinum is a rare ore beloved by Terraria players as it enables them to create items that help them advance in the game. Its versatility allows you to craft Bricks and the Spelunker Potion. Additionally, smelting them into bars using the Furnace will enable you to create a wide range of armor, furniture, accessories, tools, and weapons.

Where to Find Platinum In Terraria?

To acquire Platinum in Terraria, you must equip yourself with the essential tools for mining, such as Pickaxes and Drills. Additionally, you can use Mining Potion and Spelunker Potion to spot and get this valuable material. See the list below to learn more:

Underground

The Underground is the first and largest layer below the Surface and has a distinctive brown backdrop. This layer is predominantly of dirt, but you can also find Silt, Clay, Ores, and even low-tier gems as you dig deeper. Keep an eye out for Platinum, as this precious material can be found here and mined using the mentioned tools.

Cavern

The Cavern is below the Underground and extends towards the Underworld. This layer is adorned with a darker stone backdrop and is mainly composed of Stone blocks where you can find Underground Cabins and mini-biomes. It’s also rich in resources such as ores, gems, and chests that contain valuable items.

To mine Platinum in the Cavern, you must explore and dig tunnels throughout this layer. Make sure to equip yourself with the essential tools to dig through the domain and acquire this valuable ore. To speed up your search, consider using helpful potions to boost your mining abilities.

Floating Islands

Floating Islands containing Platinum in Terraria

Floating Islands in Terraria are elevated landmasses found high above the Surface. Exploring the upper regions of your world using Wings, Gravitation, or Teleportation Potions can help you locate these structures. Then, you can fish for Sky Crates in Floating Lakes, find them in Skyware Chests, or mine them on the island to get Platinum.

See the table below on how many islands there are and the approximate height of Floating Islands on different Map Sizes:

Map SizeHeightMaximum number of Islands
Small125 to 300 tiles250 to 300 ft.3
Medium225 to 400 tiles450 to 800 ft.5
Large325 to 600 tiles650 to 1200 ft.6

Note: If you don’t have any Wings, you can reach the Floating Island by building a staircase made from wood platforms or using rope to go up. You can also use Hooks to propel yourself upward by grabbing onto the high structures you’ve created.

Crates

All in-game Fishing Crates

Acquiring Platinum in Terraria is challenging due to its rarity, but you’re not limited to Mining. You can also get this material from fishing Pre-Hardmode and Hardmode Crates, which have drop rates of 1.79% and 0.89%, respectively, in all modes. However, they have a 5% chance of appearing in Golden Crates and a 2.5% chance in Titanium Crates.

See the Table below for the list of Hardmode and Pre-Hardmode Crates’ fishing locations:

The player fighting a Hallowed Mimic in Terraria

Hardmode Terraria is full of entities that will try to stomp you, making it seem like Pre-Hardmode. If you don’t know what to do, you should farm Hallowed Mimics to prepare your new weapons to progress. Scroll down to learn more.

What is a Hallowed Mimic in Terraria?

This unique enemy belongs to a family of monsters disguised as a Chest related to its environment. Specifically, the Hallowed version appears pink and blue painted, distinct from other variants. Moreover, it’s typically larger than regular chests, so spotting them is easy.

Comparing a Hallowed Mimic to most Pre-Hardmode bosses in Terraria reveals that the former can be deadlier to face if unprepared. However, it’s easier to counter because of its repetitive behavior. All you have to do is move a lot, preferably using a fast-moving mount.

Upon death, the Hallowed Mimic will drop various tools and weapons beneficial for your progression. We’ll reveal the contents later!

How and Where to Find the Hallowed Mimic?

Once you defeat the Wall of Flesh and enter Hardmode, Hallowed Mimics will rarely spawn in the Underground Hallow. Thankfully, if you’re traversing the biome and have the Lifeform Analyzer, you’ll know if the monster’s nearby. You can use a Hunter Potion to aid your vision further, highlighting the enemy in red.

Alternatively, insert a Key of Light in any empty Chest to manually spawn the monster. To craft the item, stand near a Work Bench with 15 Souls of Light. Note that almost every Underground Hallow enemy will yield the Soul of Light, albeit uncommonly.

We recommend gathering materials to bring the Hallowed Mimic to your base rather than going underground. Finding a naturally-spawned one will take longer than having Souls of Light in your Inventory.

Contents

Did you know that the goodies from this Mimic are excellent choices for easy Hardmode progression? Specifically, ranged and hybrid magic users benefit a lot from its loot! Speaking of which, here are all of them:

1. Daedalus Stormbow

A regular bow in Terraria fires an arrow at point-blank range. However, the Daedalus Stormbow rains hell from the sky! We consider the weapon the latest upgrade from Pre-Hardmode ones. Also, you can use it to defeat the Queen Slime and all three mechanical bosses, as they move a lot! So equip your Magic Quiver and multi-piercing arrows to succeed!

2. Illuminant Hook

The Illuminant Hook provides vertical mobility essential if you don’t have Wings. Whether you’re going to Sky Lakes or Hellevators, you’re sure you won’t take fall damage or die. It’s a decent upgrade to have three hooks out simultaneously!

3. Flying Knife

Why go out in the open when you can control a tiny projectile to defeat monsters while you’re protected on the inside?

The Flying Knife makes everything easy if you want to farm Coins on invasions and events. Hold the weapon in your hotbar and move your cursor. The best part? It pierces enemies. Don’t use it against tanky enemies, though. Better weapons exist for that.

4. Crystal Vile Shard

The Crystal Vile Shard’s specialty is similar to the Flying Knife – deleting enemies quickly without exposing yourself to the threat. But since it’s a magic-based weapon, you’ll need tons of Mana Potions.

With a proper armor set and accessories, you can defeat the Destroyer and most large crowds of enemies with a couple of clicks.

For many Terraria players, fishing is something they’ll do once and never consider repeating in the future. It’s acceptable, as you can be anyone in the game, be it an adventurer or builder. Yet, passing the opportunity means not getting access to some unique items caught in the waters – or Lava.

If you already know how to fish in Terraria, congratulations! You’re also most likely to be aware that the Angler has several rewarding quests to fetch him unique fish everywhereBut what if you need to catch something in the Underworld? This article serves as a guide to help you fish in the Lava!

Three Ways to Fish in Lava

If you’re in the earliest stage of Pre-Hardmode Terraria, we don’t recommend traversing deep into the Underworld. Enemies like Demons and Imps are way more powerful for your gear to handle. Not to mention the Bone Serpent that can phase through solid blocks, so you’re not safe even if you hole up!

Instead, we recommend having as powerful gear as the Crimson or Shadow armor set. Of course, you can upgrade it into Molten or Obsidian armor – as they’re both late Pre-Hardmode equipment. Moreover, consider the following items when you’re traversing the infernal biome:

 • Any Hook that allows you to ascend or descend
 • Flight and Mobility Accessories. Combining them in the Tinkerer’s Workshop is ideal
 • Mounts that negate fall damage
 • Obsidian Skin Potion, Obsidian Rose, Obsidian Skull, or their combinations and upgrades to prevent lava contact damage
 • Platforms
 • Sentries and Minions

Now that you have those items, it’s noteworthy that fishing in Lava is impossible unless you have the following:

1. Underworld Critters or Baits

2. Hotline Fishing Hook

3. Lavaproof Fishing Hook

Even if you use a Wooden Pole – a fishing rod with the weakest Fishing Power in Terraria – you can still fish in Lava. You only need at least one of them to get started.

Underworld Critters or Baits

Back to Pre-Hardmode, if you have the means to survive in the Underworld, you can start catching Critters. Note that you must use a Golden Bug Net or a Lavaproof Bug Net. Using the regular Bug Net will inflict you the On Fire! debuff, which reduces your HP per second.

You can obtain the Golden Bug Net by completing Angler’s fishing quests, with a 1.25% drop rate. Meanwhile, combining a Bug Net and 15 Hellstone Bars at a Hellforge will yield a Lavaproof Bug Net.

Here are all the critters from the Underworld that you can use to fish in Lava in Terraria:

NameFishing PowerFind in
Hell Butterfly25%Anywhere, anytime.
Lavafly25%Anywhere, nighttime.
Magma Snail35%Anywhere, anytime. Make sure to have platforms so they’re accessible when they spawn.

Hotline Fishing Hook

Consider an upgrade if you have the Mechanic’s Rod, Fleshcatcher, or the Fisher of Souls in Terraria. You can obtain the Hotline Fishing Hook by completing 25 fishing quests from the Angler. After that, you have a 1.33% chance of receiving it as a reward for every successful catch!

Casting the Hotline Fishing Hook in Lava, regardless of your bait, will get you that Flarefin Koi or Obsidifish for Potions!

Lavaproof Fishing Hook

The third way to fish in Lava is by equipping the Lavaproof Fishing Hook accessory. It’s pretty rare, as you can acquire it by opening Obsidian Crates in Pre-Hardmode and Hellstone Crates in Hardmode Terraria. If it’s your first time going for the Lavaproof Fishing Hook, we recommend enhancing your Fishing Power.

You can also upgrade the Lavaproof Fishing Hook into a Lavaproof Tackle Bag later in the game, providing:

 • +10% Fishing Power
 • Fishing Line will never break
 • Can fish in Lava
 • Chance not to consume the bait

What if an NPC dies?

Especially in Expert Mode and Master Mode in Terraria, the chances of your NPC dying from a Wandering Eye or Zombie is high. Thankfully, they’ll spawn after a while as long as a suitable vacant house is available.

With Party Girl, though, there’s only a 2.5% chance for her to spawn even if she was in your Town before.

Conclusion

Every NPC in Terraria is unique. They have unique specializations you can afford depending on your goal. Regardless, all of them wants to be happy. After all, the world is on the brink of destruction if not for the Dryad’s effort to contain Cthulhu and his subordinates.

Start building houses now, don’t let them near Crimson or Corruption, and put a smile on every NPC. We’re sure that’s a great way to get the most profit when selling items or collecting from the Tax Collector. Even better, Pylons will add extreme convenience to your Terraria gameplay!

The Blade of Grass in Terraria

In close-quarter combat, having melee weapons is a game-changer! It’s a must-have if you love getting up close in battles. They let you face enemies head-on and deliver potent attacks.

One such weapon that stands out in Terraria is the Pre-Hardmode Jungle’s Blade of Grass. Read this guide to learn more about the item and how to acquire it!

Special PropertyInflicts the Poisoned Debuff. Also releases a projectile when swung that chases enemies.

The Blade of Grass is a melee weapon in Terraria that can pierce enemies and autoswing. When using the melee weapon against enemies, you’ll inflict the Poisoned debuff, giving them a 25% chance of being poisoned for seven seconds.

This remarkable weapon throws a leaf-shaped projectile with green particle effects that deal damage equal to 25% of its base damage and can pass through a single enemy.

Its ability to automatically target nearby enemies within a radius of nine tiles is truly impressive. No need to worry about aiming precisely – this weapon’s got you covered! Additionally, it boasts +20 Armor Penetration, making sure that even well-armored enemies in Terraria will feel its sting.

MaterialsCrafting Station
• Jungle Spores (15 (desktop, mobile, console) / 12 (3DS, old-gen consoles))
• Stinger (12 (desktop, mobile, console) / 15 (3DS, old-gen consoles))
• Vine (3)
Iron Anvil / Lead Anvil

Stingers are abundant in the Underground Jungle, where killing Dragon Hornets (50%), Hornets (66%), Moss Hornets (16.67%), and Spiked Jungle Slimes will yield the material. Expect higher drop rates if you play on Expert Mode and Master Mode, where Hornets and Spiked Jungle Slimes always guarantee the reward.

While exploring the same location in Terraria, you may encounter glowing green Jungle Spores. These are harmless, and you can destroy them. The final ingredient – Vines – is a drop from Man Eaters (50% (Classic) / 100% (Expert & Master)).

Item Upgrade

You can upgrade this weapon to a Night’s Edge. Through normal gameplay, you’ll encounter evil biomes, Dungeons, and the Underground. Spending some time in each location allows you to obtain the following materials:

ResultMaterialsCrafting Station
Night’s Edge Blade of Grass (1)
• Blood Butcherer (1) / Light’s Bane (1)
• Muramasa (1)
• Volcano (1)
Crimson Altar / Demon Altar

Tips and Tricks

The enemies that drop Stingers, like Hornets and Spiked Jungle Slimes, become rarer in their spawns. However, the Moss Hornet became more prevalent, even though it doesn’t drop Stingers (3DS, old-gen consoles).

Nevertheless, the sword remains an impressive weapon in Terraria, ranking as the second-largest sword you can wield in the pre-Hardmode phase, only surpassed by the Volcano.
