How to get the Musket Ball

Musket Balls can be obtained from the Arms Dealer for 7 Copper Coins each.

Musket Balls (100) are found by destroying a Shadow Orb from the Corruption biome (100% on first destruction and 20% on subsequent destructions). Destroying a Crimson Heart also yields Musket Balls (100), with a 20% (desktop, mobile, console) / 25% (3DS, old-gen consoles) chance.

During Christmas, a Present has a 0.64% (Pre-Hardmode) / 0.6% (Hardmode) chance of dropping Musket Balls (30-60).
