Bug Net
A Bug Net is a valuable tool that allows you to capture various critters in Terraria which you can use as Bait. To obtain this important item, you can buy it from the Mechant for 1 Gold Coin (3DS, old-gen consoles) or 25 Silver Coins (desktop, mobile, console). It can also be upgraded to a Golden or Lavaproof Bug Net to capture Underworld critters like the Lavafly, Magma Snail, and Hell Butterfly.
