Terraria (Wiki): Chlorophyte Claymore
Everything you need to know
The Chlorophyte Claymore is a Hardmode Ore Sword that fires a Chlorophyte Orb every 0.75s. The Chlorophyte Orb pierces an infinite number of enemies and depletes upon hitting a solid block and speed will change depending on melee speed. However, the cooldown will not change. The Chlorophyte Orb has a larger hitbox than the Magic Dagger but behaves similarly. The orb moves similarly to the Magic Dagger for a short distance before descending sharply and falling more quickly. The orb explodes and emits a bright, sparkly green particle effect upon collision. The Chlorophyte Claymore is considered a more powerful but slower sword than the Chlorophyte Claymore.
Since the Chlorophyte Orb does not need ammunition or mana, the Chlorophyte Claymore might be ideal against a group of enemies. However, during the projectile cooldown, switching to items, using Auto Select, and looking in another direction is impossible. In 3DS, old-gen consoles, recharging the Chlorophyte Orb comes with a small particle effect and the sound for restoring mana.
The Chlorophyte Claymore is best modified with Legendary for an overall stats increase.
