Terraria (Wiki): Boreal Wood Sword
Everything you need to know
The Boreal Wood Sword is a melee weapon that pierces enemies.
The Boreal Wood Sword is a superior choice to the Wooden Sword because Snow biomes are always near the player's spawn point. It has a shorter use time and deals one more damage and knockback than the Wooden Sword.
The Boreal Wood Sword’s damage is equivalent to Copper Broadsword, but the former is cheaper. A Boreal Wood Sword cannot autoswing. Its attack reaches two tiles in radius. At an optimal distance, the Boreal Wood Sword can pierce two enemies. However, multiple bodies will be damaged should they all line up for the player.
When normally used, the Boreal Wood Sword will not emit light, and attacks do not go through walls.
Combat-wise, the Boreal Wood Sword’s decent damage and fast use time are effective against waves of enemies at the early stages of the game. All Flask items will imbue their unique effects since the Boreal Wood Sword is a melee weapon.
The Boreal Wood Sword is best modified with Legendary for overall stats improvement.
Strengths & Weaknesses of the Boreal Wood Sword
