Terraria (Wiki): Rich Mahogany Sword
Everything you need to know
General Information
The Rich Mahogany Sword is a melee weapon that pierces enemies.
The Rich Mahogany Sword is an alternative version of the Wooden Sword. It has a shorter use time and deals one more damage and knockback than the Wooden Sword. A Rich Mahogany Sword cannot autoswing. Its attack reaches two tiles in radius. At an optimal distance, the Rich Mahogany Sword can pierce two enemies. However, multiple bodies will be damaged should they all line up for the player.
When normally used, the Rich Mahogany Sword will not emit light, and attacks do not go through walls. It has a slightly higher attack than the Wooden Sword, making it a better choice for new characters looking to replace their Copper Shortsword.
Combat-wise, the Rich Mahogany Sword’s decent damage and low use time are effective against waves of enemies at the early stages of the game. Since players spawn in a forest and must navigate the dangerous enemies of the Jungle, it is strongly advised that they make a Wooden Sword rather than a Rich Mahogany Sword. All Flask items will imbue their unique effects since the Rich Mahogany Sword is a melee weapon.
The Rich Mahogany Sword is best modified with Legendary for overall stats improvement.

How to get the Rich Mahogany Sword
