Everything you need to know
General Information
The Copper Broadsword is an early-game metal broadsword that performs a short-ranged swinging motion in an arc, damaging enemies behind and in front of the player. It is the alternate ore version of the Tin Broadsword.
One enemy can be pierced at a normal range, although an infinite amount is possible should they line up. The Copper Broadsword also has a short reach of three tiles radius. It is incapable of autoswing.
The Copper Shortsword is considered the weakest Broadsword.
Some weapons emit light while also being capable of inflicting damage against enemies behind a cover, but the Copper Broadsword is not included.
Stats and accessibility-wise, the Ebonwood Sword and Shadewood Sword - from the Corruption and Crimson biome, respectively - are superior to the Copper Broadsword.
Since the Copper Broadsword can swing above the player, it is viable for flying and jumping enemies. The resulting damage can also be enhanced by consuming any Flask type.
By applying the Legendary modifier, the Copper Broadsword will experience improved stats for the following:
- Damage: +15%
- Attack Speed: +10%
- Critical Strike Chance: +5%
- Size: +10%
- Knockback: +15%
- Tier: +2
- Selling Price: +209.85%
