Everything you need to know

General Information

The Celebration is a launcher-type weapon that fires two explosive rockets at the expense of one ammunition, exploding after hitting an enemy or block or after 1s of travel. It uses rockets as ammunition despite the weapon firing unique projectiles. The resulting explosion has a considerable reach, making the Celebration damage multiple enemies. It is also capable of autofiring.

When the Celebration is put into action, the projectile is noticeably emitting light, displaying patterns and colors akin to fireworks.

Like the Electrosphere Launcher, the Celebration disables most special rockets’ features. When equipped with Rocket II and Rocket IV, the resulting explosion does not destroy tiles. Cluster Rocket I and Cluster Rocket II also do not fragment. Moreover, Dry Rocket, Wet Rocket, Lava Rocket, and Honey Rocket do not place or remove liquids.

Although the Celebration’s fired rockets deal massive damage against enemies, the player caught within the explosion radius does not need to worry since self-inflicted harm is negated.

Of all Rocket Launchers, the Celebration has the weakest base damage.

With PvP off, misfiring the Celebration to friendlies will not damage them upon projectile impact. However, the same cannot be said once PvP is enabled.

With its splashing damage capability, the Celebration can also take down enemies behind cover using all rocket ammunition. The damage is doubled due to the Celebration’s rocket and explosion created.

During the Martian Madness event, the player will encounter the projectile-reflecting Selenians. As with its terrifying skill against the player, the Selenian will reflect all projectiles except launched rockets.

Shroomite Helmet and other items that boost ranged damage are excellent for the Celebration.

The Celebration can handle large waves of enemies coming from events and invasions. Most Worms’ segments will also take damage from the weapon’s launched rockets as it explodes in a large radius.

Because of the weapon’s large splash effect, harvesting plants and destroying thorny bushes and Spider nests becomes easier.

The Celebration benefits the most from Unreal - the best modifier for ranged weapons - dramatically improving all stats and increasing the weapon’s overall value by sixfold.
