The Chlorophyte Partisan is an Ore Spear that pierces enemies.

The Chlorophyte Partisan is the best among the regular Ore Spear. It deals one more damage than the second-best ore spear, the Titanium Trident. It also deals the same amount of damage as the Adamantite Glaive but has a faster use time. 

When pushing it forward, the Chlorophyte Partisan releases a bunch of spores from the spear's tip. These spores look similar to the projectiles of the Chlorophyte Saber. Both the spear and the cloud are able to pierce through solid blocks and numerous enemies, but the cloud does not deal with any knockback. It moves briefly in the direction the spear was thrown before dissipating. The spore cloud can deal with critical hits and has a similar damage range to the spear itself, and its attack reaches 18 tiles in radius. 

A Chlorophyte Partisan cannot autoswing. Its attack reaches 11 tiles in radius. At an optimal distance, the Chlorophyte Partisan can pierce five enemies. However, multiple bodies will be damaged should they all line up for the player.

When normally used, the Chlorophyte Partisan will not emit light, and its basic attacks do not go through walls. However, its projectile can pass through them.

Combat-wise, all Flask items will imbue their unique effects since the Chlorophyte Partisan is a melee weapon. 

This weapon damages enemies using a spore cloud it releases, not by the spear itself. To harm enemies, the user must be at a certain distance for the spore cloud to reach them. If the enemy is too close, the cloud won't affect them. When using the Magma Stone or Fire Gauntlet, the spores lack flame particles and cannot cause the On Fire! debuff.

The Chlorophyte Partisan is a useful weapon against groups of enemies due to its damage output and strong knockback. Multiple enemies can be knocked back simultaneously, making it useful for defense.

The Chlorophyte Partisan is best modified with Godly or Demonic for overall stats improvement. Both modifiers equally increase the average damage output.
